Book-Tasting Classroom Transformation

I planned a little “book-tasting” classroom transformation before our Winter/Christmas break! I checked out some books from our parish library and used some books from my classroom! They loved that I served them different genres of books! I wanted them to have an open mind and read a few pages of a new book instead of just looking at the cover! They loved it and they are totally worth it! Now, another classroom transformation in the making 🙌🏼

Grammar Posters

Working on some Grammar posters! At a previous school, I was trained in Shurley English and it really helped the students classify each word in a sentence. In my experience, students have problems remembering parts of speech in isolation. Teaching the students to ask certain questions in the sentence can help them classify each word! #teachersofinstagram #teachersfollowteachers #grammar #3rdgrade #3rdgradeteacher
