LAYERING OBJECTS AND TRANSLUCENCY
1. Place 4 images from the library on the page.
2. Open the objects browser: to move objects from one layer to another, click and drag the object to the desired layer.
3. Layer two objects, click on the top object and select the translucency tool and use the slider to make the image appear and disappear.
RESOURCE PACKS
1. Save the Resource pack to your computer.
2. Open the inspire software.
3. Select the resource browser.
4. Select shared resources and the shared resources folder.
5. From the pull down menu, select import resources.
6. The resources will automatically import and then indexing of your library will begin.
Grouping and Locking Objects
1. Type an objective on the page.
2. Place an image from the library on the page.
3. In a blank area, click and drag across the textbox and the picture.
4. Select the grouped tool to group the objects together.
5. To lock and object in place, you will right click and select the lock option.
Actions
1. Type your text on the page.
2. Place an image from the resource library on the page. Open your action browser and select your image. Select the hidden option under your resource library. Select the three dots at the bottom of the browser and select the textbox. Don’t forget to select apply changes and save.
Containers Part 1
1. Place two objects on the page.
2. Open the properties browser.
3. Select your image and select the container tab.
4. Under Can contain select keyword.
5. Under keyword type the word noun.
6. Under returned if not contained select True.
7. Repeat for the second container.
8. Select your image and select the container tab.
Containers Part 2
1. Under keyword type the word verb.
2. Place images of nouns and verbs on the page, Select an image and click on the properties browser.
3. Select the identification tab and under keywords type noun if the image is of a noun and verb if the image if for verb.
4. Select the container tab and under return if not contained select True.
Magic Ink
1. Type your text on the page.
2. Place an image from the library on top of your text.
3. Right click on the image, select reorder and then layer to the top.
4. Select the Magic Ink tool and rub over the image to reveal what is underneath. Remember: Your Magic Ink tool only works with images on the top layer!
Rub and Reveal
1. Type or copy and paste text on the page.
2. Select the pen tool and then select the same color as the background of the page.
3. Draw a line over the text to “white out” the words that you do not want students to see.
4. Use the eraser to erase the line you drew and reveal the text underneath
