Board games are great for classroom centers

Do you have some board games in your closet that no one uses? Bring them to school! Games like scrabble can help student with spelling and phonics.  Other board games help students with critical thinking skills, problem solving, and reasoning skills! You can put them in your reading/math centers.

  1. I use chess regularly in my classroom for critical thinking and problem solving skills! I've also added math facts & sight words to Jenga blocks and the kids love it! Great post!
