Coding in the classroom!

Code.org is an awesome site to teach kiddos how to code.  They have a section called:  Hour of Code (usually for older kiddos)
If you go to the student tab, it has lots of options.

Next Code app is Scratch Jr.
Coding is the new literacy! With ScratchJr, young children (ages 5-7) can program their own interactive stories and games. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer.

The newest website for coding is Tynker.com

The easiest way to learn programming

Tynker's online courses provide a complete learning system with interactive exercises, guided tutorials,
fun creativity tools, puzzles and more to make programming fun.
Please excuse all the extra talk and questions but here is my scope about coding!

Check out my cohost, Ashley's site for extra coding resources.  Check us out our tech talk show...iteachtvnetwork.com  We will be on Tuesdays at 9 EST.
